Short answer: PMCODE took five different AliExpress products to the final US checkout screen on September 21, 2026. All five selected variants accepted the United States delivery address and showed Free shipping—but every checkout also displayed a separate Additional charges line. In this small test, free shipping did not mean that the subtotal was the last number added before payment.
We recorded the selected variant, warehouse, automatic savings, shipping, additional charges, final total and delivery window. We stopped before Place order, so no purchase was made.
Prices, discounts, stock, shipping and charges can change by product option, account, seller, address and time.
What happened at checkout
The most important result was consistent across five very different purchases: a refurbished portable power station, a label printer, a car vacuum, a handheld game console and a dash cam. Each selected option reached the final confirmation screen for the same US delivery setup. Each displayed free shipping. Each also displayed additional charges.
The final total was calculated this way in every individual checkout:

That distinction matters. A product page can advertise free shipping while the confirmation screen still includes a separate charge. AliExpress did not identify that line more specifically in these observations, so we are keeping the platform’s exact label rather than assuming that it was entirely tax, duty or another particular fee.

Free shipping did not mean zero extra charges
“Free shipping” answered only one part of the checkout question in this test. The shipping line was $0 for all five products, while the additional-charges line ranged from $1.68 on the NIIMBOT printer to $20.58 on the refurbished BLUETTI power station.
That does not mean free shipping was misleading: the shipping line really was free. It means shoppers should separate shipping cost from the complete delivered total. The number that matters immediately before payment is the final total after both savings and charges have been applied.
In each of these five checks, the visible automatic saving was larger than the additional charge. As a result, every final total was lower than its displayed subtotal. That outcome is specific to these selected variants and this test; it is not a promise that every AliExpress order will finish below the listing subtotal.
US warehouse versus China warehouse
The two products marked as shipping from the United States showed the earliest delivery dates in this sample. The BLUETTI estimate began on September 23 and the ANBERNIC estimate began on September 24—two and three days after the check.
The three China Mainland listings showed delivery windows beginning September 28 or 29, seven or eight days after the check. That is a useful difference, but the sample is too small to turn it into a universal rule. A US warehouse does not guarantee a particular arrival date, and a China warehouse is not enough by itself to predict slow delivery. Seller handling time, carrier, address, inventory and the exact option can all change the estimate.

Why the exact product option matters
A listing title is not precise enough to reproduce a checkout result. AliExpress listings commonly group different colors, bundles, storage sizes, plug types and warehouse locations on one page.
The BLUETTI observation was for a certified refurbished Elite 100 V2 Renew in Grey with a 110V US plug. It should not be presented as the checkout price of a new unit. The 70mai observation was for the front-camera-only option with no TF card. A rear-camera bundle, memory-card bundle or hardwire-kit bundle can have a different price, warehouse, delivery estimate and final total.
The same warning applies to the 64G ANBERNIC option and the Dark Blue NIIMBOT printer. Before comparing your result with this table, match the option first—not just the broad product name.

The product-page signals below were visible during the test. Ratings, reviews and sales are AliExpress marketplace figures, not independent PMCODE product testing.

How to repeat the test without placing an order
- Set the destination first. Choose United States and USD before comparing prices.
- Select the exact option. Match color, capacity, bundle, plug type and ship-from warehouse.
- Open checkout. Use Buy now or proceed from the cart to the final confirmation screen.
- Record each line separately. Note the subtotal, Saved amount, shipping, Additional charges, final total and delivery estimate.
- Stop before payment. Do not press Place order unless you actually intend to purchase.
Also open the Saved panel if you need to understand which automatic discounts AliExpress selected. The combined Saved number alone does not establish that a particular promo code applied.

Yes, many listings do. All five variants in this test accepted the US delivery address. Availability remains listing- and variant-specific, so select the exact option before assuming it can ship.
Is AliExpress shipping free in the US?
It can be. Shipping was shown as free on all five checks, but this sample does not establish a platform-wide rule. Other products, sellers, warehouses or addresses may show a shipping fee.
What are “Additional charges” on AliExpress?
That is the label displayed by AliExpress in these checkout summaries. Because the screen did not break down the composition of the amount, PMCODE is not renaming it or claiming that it consisted entirely of tax, duty or another specific charge.
Does a US warehouse guarantee fast delivery?
No. The two US-warehouse options showed earlier dates in this small sample, but an estimate can still change with stock, processing, carrier performance and destination.
