AliexpressThe amaran Ace 25c Kit is a compact, battery-powered RGBWW creator light for tabletop scenes, close subjects, colored background accents and portable camera or phone content setups. This selected Charcoal kit combines the light with accessories intended to help position, shape and carry a small source. Its adjustable color temperature, local controls and Bluetooth app control make it useful when you need a flexible light that can move between a desk, a small set and a location shoot.
What the Charcoal kit includes
The selected variant is the Ace 25c Kit-Charcoal. The supplied product information identifies the package as including:
- Amaran Ace 25c Charcoal light
- Mini tripod
- Diffuser and grid
- Carrying case
- Cold-shoe adapter
- USB cable
Manufacturer kit inventory also lists a 5mm hex wrench. No charging brick is listed, so plan to use a compatible USB-C power source. The kit does not include a full-size light stand, phone, camera or microphone.
Light, control and mounting features
The Ace 25c supports adjustable CCT from 2300K to 10000K and RGBWW color control. Manufacturer specifications identify standard output up to 25W and Boost output up to 32W; Silent mode reduces output. A built-in rechargeable battery supports portable use, while USB-C charging, local display and menu controls provide operation without relying on the app. Bluetooth control is available through the amaran app.
Mounting options include a 1/4-20 mount, an Ace Lock quick release, a rear magnetic mounting surface and front magnetic accessory mounting. Magnets are an additional mounting option, not a guarantee that attachment is safe on every surface. Check the load, surface and security before leaving the light mounted.
Practical fit and limitations
The diffuser can soften and shape this small source, while the grid helps restrict spill rather than increase power. Output, distance and diffusion still affect coverage, so this light is better suited to close subjects and compact scenes than to replacing a studio key light or illuminating an entire room.
- Keep vents clear and allow working space around the active fan.
- Parts can become hot during use.
- For quiet recording, consider Silent mode and careful placement.
- Battery use, output selection and charging conditions affect operating time.
- Do not assume weatherproofing, universal accessory compatibility or pass-through charging.
Buying checks
Confirm that the listing still identifies the exact Kit-Charcoal variant rather than the light-only White option or another color. Open the package and compare the included accessories with the stated kit inventory. Before a shoot, check the USB-C power source, mounting hardware, available clearance and the security of any magnetic or tripod placement.
