AliexpressThe Haute42 T16-Texture is a wired USB-C all-button arcade controller for players who want directional inputs handled by buttons instead of a joystick. This selected version has a textured surface design, 16 main buttons and RGB lighting. The seller-listed features and package contents should be treated as listing evidence rather than independent test results. The selected package is described as including the controller, a USB Type-C data cable, a keycap puller and six anti-slip pads.
Layout and core features
The leverless layout replaces a traditional stick with dedicated directional buttons. That arrangement changes how movement and inputs are performed, so it is sensible to allow time to learn the button positions before relying on it for a familiar game. RGB lighting is included as a product feature, while the textured artwork provides the stated T16-Texture appearance.
- Wired connection through USB Type-C
- 16 main buttons
- Button-based directional inputs with no joystick
- Textured surface artwork and RGB lighting
- Selected package includes a keycap puller and six anti-slip pads
Modes and compatibility
Cosmox support documentation describes XInput for PC and Steam, Switch input mode, PS3/DInput mode and keyboard mode. It also describes PS passthrough authentication. These are mode-specific capabilities, not a universal plug-and-play guarantee for every console or game. The exact listing warns that PS4 and PS5 require a separately purchased converter and do not support direct connection. A converter is not included in this selected option. Images showing platform logos are not compatibility proof.

Practical limitations and buying checks
Before buying, confirm the game and platform use the intended input mode, and check whether a converter is needed. For PS4 or PS5, budget for the separately purchased converter and verify its compatibility. PC and Steam users should confirm whether XInput or keyboard mode suits their software. Switch users should select the documented Switch mode where applicable. Tournament rules, including SOCD requirements, can differ, so check the event’s current regulations. Also confirm that the wired setup and included Type-C cable fit the intended play area. The all-button layout takes practice, and no claim of faster play, superior ergonomics or competition eligibility should be assumed.
